Membership usually runs from 70 to 100. Like any club, interests cover a wide range of Amateur Radio activities. This variety of activities is one of the things that makes our hobby so neat. There is something for everyone. So someone in the club will probably be able to help you or answer questions you might have about different aspects of the hobby, whether it be Phone, CW, Data or Digital modes, Computers, Antennas, DX'ing or just local communications. If you are new to amateur radio, it is understandable to be hesitant to get on the radio and talk to someone you have never known but SCARS has a great group of people that are willing to help you at all times get your feet wet on the airwaves. SCARS encourages you to visit the
Meetings page for more information on club meetings, radio nets, and other activities pertaining to the club.
