SCARS goes mobile?  Well, it has at the moment and is still in the testing phase.  Using your handheld device, visit www.w5nor.org/mobile and see how it looks on your mobile device.  It's very basic right now and I'm still working on the kinks in the system.  The roster, for now, is still in Excel document form and is still password protected and therefore it might not work on your handheld device.  -WX5AKK

Have you ever wanted to become part of a special community that has fun talking to people across the area, state, country, or even world?  Or do you know someone that has always wondered why that person has so many antennas on their vehicle and wish they could do that?  Now is your opportunity to become part of a great hobby and community service by taking the Technician Class every Thursday evening starting on January 19 at 7:00 PM through March 8, 2012.  To learn more about this class or enroll, email Peter Laws at n5uwy@arrl.net or visit here.
